The problem
Agencies reconcile statements from a dozen carriers against their books by hand. Money slips through, nights disappear, and tax season hurts.
My role
Core engineer at X Assure by eDesk: Plaid integration, AI categorization, OCR intake, reporting UI.
The hard part
Money has to balance. The pipeline pulls banks through Plaid, OCRs receipts and invoices, and uses AI to suggest categories, but every suggestion is logged and reversible. Nothing posts silently. Volume is 50K+ transactions a month.
Outcome
Live at tallify.ai for independent agencies. Plans from $349/mo. Integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, and agency management systems, plus a chat UI for questions over the books.
