The problem

A VA service is only as good as its operations: hundreds of assistants across time zones, each attached to client accounts, tasks, and billable hours. Spreadsheets don't survive that.

My role

Core engineer: data model, realtime sync, time-tracking system, and team collaboration features.

The hard part

Time tracking with check-in/check-out has to be trustworthy — it drives payroll and client billing. Built on Supabase (Postgres, auth, edge functions, realtime) so presence, task state, and hours stay live across every connected client without running a separate socket fleet.

Outcome

Runs the operations behind xassure.ai ('Xassure by eDesk'), which publicly reports 150+ agencies served by a 250+ person team with a 4.7 Trustpilot rating.
