The problem
A VA shop with hundreds of assistants across time zones needs more than spreadsheets for client accounts, tasks, and billable hours.
My role
Core engineer: data model, realtime sync, time tracking, collaboration features.
The hard part
Check-in/check-out hours feed payroll and client billing, so the numbers have to be trustworthy. Supabase (Postgres, auth, edge functions, realtime) keeps presence, tasks, and hours live without a separate socket layer.
Outcome
Powers operations at xassure.ai ('X Assure by eDesk'). Public site cites 150+ agencies and a 250+ person team with a 4.7 Trustpilot score.
