The problem
Sellers shipping via Pakistan Post filled out booking forms and money orders by hand, order by order. For a store doing hundreds of COD parcels a week, that's hours of copy-work and transcription errors — and no visibility once the parcel leaves.
My role
Sole engineer: product architecture, web app, mobile app, Shopify app, infrastructure, and ongoing operations.
The hard part
Pakistan Post has no public developer platform. Booking, money-order generation, and label creation run against its internal APIs, which meant reverse-engineering undocumented request flows and building a resilient layer that keeps working when the upstream system hiccups. Bulk operations — like generating a loadsheet across hundreds of orders — had to stay fast and atomic on top of that.
Outcome
Live at postbookingagent.com with free and paid plans, a Shopify app for merchants, and a React Native Android app. Sellers book, print, and reconcile COD parcels from one dashboard; the product site reports 10,000+ customers served.
